After graduating from Gakushuin Women's Junior College, she worked as an assistant in a trading company and a research institute before entering the intellectual property industry in 2005. She then worked as a paralegal at Daiichi International Patent Office for about 10 years on foreign patent and trademark matters, and registered as a patent attorney in 2016.
Since 2016, she has been engaged in foreign trademark prosecution at Shiga International Patent Firm and foreign trademark prosecution and firm management at Younghun Patent & Law Office before joining GMO BRAND SECURITY Inc. in February 2022. I joined GMO Brand Security as a part-time worker when I was a student, and joined the company right after graduating from university and was assigned to the trademark department. Since then, I have devoted myself to the trademark business. In addition to Japanese, I can handle six languages, namely English, Chinese, Cantonese, Malay, and Indonesian.

In my previous job, after working in design and development at an audio-visual manufacturer, I was transferred to the Intellectual Property Department, where I was engaged in patent, design, and trademark rights acquisition and counterfeit countermeasures.
When I was in charge of patents, I also created specifications and patent drawings myself. When I was in charge of measures against counterfeits, I was in charge of patent litigation in China, Taiwan, and the United States.
After joining GMO Brand Security, I have devoted myself to the trademark business. Taking advantage of my experience in intellectual property work at a company, I will continue to face customers sincerely and try to respond to customer issues in a kind and courteous manner.

We offer proposals for efficient procedures that take into consideration various factors such as the trademark system, procedural costs, and country characteristics, as well as proposals for appropriate application methods based on the type of trademark actually used and the goods and services. After that, from 2009 to 2016, I moved to China, where I was in charge of local investigations and detection of counterfeit goods at a research company for Japanese companies in Shanghai.
As our anti-counterfeiting officer, I am involved in brand protection activities by monitoring and enforcing online brands. We are familiar with the situation in China, and our strength lies in negotiating with e-commerce sites such as Alibaba.
