On June 3, 2026 (Tuesday), INTERNET Watch introduced the results of a survey on "Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI) in Corporate Email," conducted by GMO Brand Security Inc.
The article, based on our survey results targeting 553 email recipients and 541 email distribution service providers, highlighted the current state of security and trust in corporate emails. The survey revealed that approximately 54.2% of email recipients receive spoofed emails or phishing emails monthly, with 74.3% of them feeling "very anxious or anxious" about such threats. Meanwhile, the adoption rate of "BIMI," which authenticates the sender and displays a company logo, stands at only 16.3%, and the adoption rate of the authentication technology "DMARC" is 28.1%, both showing a decline compared to the 2025 survey.
